Punk thrashers Slaves were duped into thinking they had been invited to play at Banksy’s dismaland when someone posing as a PR agent sent them a fake email.
"We will not be playing at Dismaland on the 25th September," the band wrote. "Some silly sausage pretending to be the organiser invited us to play a gig there and we naturally obliged. Turns out it wasn't genuine. Got done, good and proper."
However, the band said that they would now play a rearranged show at a different venue in Western-super-Mare on the same date.
"All is not lost though," they added. "As we know many of you had made plans to pay us a visit we have decided to play our own show in Weston-super-Mare that night anyway! Details will be announced tomorrow and tickets will be on sale Tuesday at youareallslaves.com. More details soon..."
