For those not familiar with the 20 year old Italian singer and songwriter Alessandro Bossi, better know as Kiol, his songs have a bluesy vibe with a hint of alternative folk and heavenly lyrics - inspired by the likes of well known artists such as Amy Winehouse, The Beatles, James Brown and Jake Bugg.
Kiol first started off as a punk-rock drummer but it was when his sister asked him to start playing the guitar and sing some songs for her that he discovered his unique voice. In 2016 he released his first single ‘Broken Up Again’ and his first EP I Come As I Am came out via Warner Music Benelux earlier this year.
‘Hard Things’ will be released on the 24th of November through Join Records. The track was produced at the Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland by Paolo Nutini’s producer Dani Castelar and musicians Gavin Fitzjohn (brass and piano) and Dave Nelson (co-writing and guitar) who are also known as Long Run.
